Protein Berry Smoothie

1 cup of mixed berries (fresh or frozen)

3 scoops of plain protein powder

2 tablespoon of LSA (ground up linseeds, sunflower seeds and almonds)
-
Handful of almonds
-
Dash of honey to taste
Blend on high until smooth...and ENJOY!
This smoothie has it all. Protein, carbohydrates, fiber and good fats. LSA is packed with fiber and good fats like omega 3 and 6. Almonds contain protein, omega 3 & 6, fiber and carbohydrates. And the berries are a natural source of sugar and packed with antioxidants
Double Cacao Smoothie

1 banana

2 heaped tsp of cacao powder

1 handful of cashews

Sweetner to taste (honey, organic maple syrup, coconut sugar)
Blend on high until smooth...and ENJOY!
I topped this with a cacao and coconut granola
Cacao is the raw form of cocoa, before its heat treated. The antioxidants found in cacao are something like 360 times that of cocoa. It is also packed with magnesium! Magnesium is great for cramps and sore muscles.
Salted Caramel Smoothie

1/2 tsp cinnamon

This is my favourite smoothie to make, there isnt a lot of nutritional value but it tastes amazing! Great when you feel like something sweet :) Mesquite powder helps to stableize blood sugar and is rich in minerals such as calcium, magnesium and zinc. It is also packed with protein

This energy boosting green smoothie is a full meal, you are getting lots of good fats, carbohydrates, protein and a serving of vegges all in one, plus it is yum!!
